WHERE THE MUSIC BEGINS
INSPIRATION
Young affection often appears first in an excuse, a promise or a casual choice of words. These theme songs begin with those small expressions, giving one summer several distinct voices. A feeling need not be stated plainly; the way someone approaches it can reveal just as much about who they are.
COMPOSITION
青い夏の余白 and 潮痕の夏 frame the shared summer, while the character songs bring individual feelings into focus. A ten-yen promise, a request outside one's duties, affection phrased as a rational explanation: even the titles preserve different personalities. The collection places those personal expressions alongside the larger story's themes.
BEHIND THE MUSIC
The cover places the characters between a bright sky and the coast. Some stand, another sits; there is still plenty of summer ahead. That ease is important. Romance and growing up carry weight because they belong to ordinary moments we can imagine sharing, before we know where the story will lead.
