WHERE THE MUSIC BEGINS
INSPIRATION
古調今琴 brings classical imagery into conversation with expression in the present. Landscapes, green plums, willow branches and old dreams carry an Eastern poetic inheritance, while holding feelings still familiar today: closeness, parting and remembrance. The meeting of old and new opens another way to speak about emotions we already know.
COMPOSITION
The sequence moves from the broad landscape of 江山入画 toward the personal feelings of 青梅 and 折柳不成, then opens into 夜未央 and 雲水謡. Landscape and emotion continually answer each other. Classical imagery becomes both a way to make space feel expansive and a way to approach someone's inner life.
BEHIND THE MUSIC
On the cover, a zither, flowing robes and moonlit mountains meet a ribbon of Western staff notation. Both visual languages belong to one scene. The interest lies in keeping their distinct cultural character while discovering what their encounter can express—a concise visual statement of the album's conversation between inheritance and the present.
